Welcome to Foot to the Floor - Our next tour: Spring 2026
Our journey to Wales kicks off in England, with a warm welcome at our charming first hotel just south of Worcester.
You’re invited to settle in for the night, share a delicious dinner and get to know your fellow travelers before the adventure unfolds. It’s the perfect chance to relax, connect, and build anticipation for the days ahead.
Prefer to dive straight into the action? No problem. You can join us bright and early the next morning as we set off together on this unforgettable tour.

Our adventure begins with a breathtaking drive through the rolling Malvern Hills and the lush Wye Valley, before we cross the border near Monmouth and step into the spirit of Wales.
From there, we sweep down toward historic Chepstow, then curve back north to Abergavenny, where the Heads of the Valleys Road leads us deeper into the country’s rugged beauty.
The journey crescendos as we weave across the dramatic Brecon Beacons, tackling the legendary Black Mountain Pass to Llangadog — a road that promises both exhilaration and awe.
Finally, we wind our way to our welcoming hotel near the lively market town of Lampeter, nestled at the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains, where the day’s adventures give way to relaxation and camaraderie.

Our first full day in Wales takes us deep into the country’s heart, crossing the rolling foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. Along the way, we pause at the striking Garreg Ddu Dam, a serene spot where water and stone meet in perfect harmony.
From there, our route winds north through Crossgates and New Mills before turning west onto the breathtaking B4391 — a road that unfurls like a ribbon across sweeping valleys and rugged hillsides. Every turn brings new vistas as we journey toward the dramatic landscapes of Snowdonia and the historic town of Ffestiniog.
As the day draws to a close, we settle into our welcoming hotel on the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park. Here, surrounded by towering peaks and timeless beauty, we can relax and reflect on the unforgettable sights of the day.

Our final day begins with a spectacular drive back into the rugged landscapes of Snowdonia, winding through the dramatic Llanberis Pass — a road carved between towering peaks that feels like the very soul of Wales.
From there, we head east to the legendary Evo Triangle, a circuit beloved by driving enthusiasts. Perhaps we’ll indulge in a lap or two, savouring the thrill of the open road before turning southeast toward England.
Though it’s the closing chapter of our weekend adventure, the beauty never fades. Our route carries us gracefully across the English border and into the rolling Shropshire Hills, a fitting farewell to the landscapes we’ve explored.
Finally, we return to our first hotel near Worcester, where the journey comes full circle. Together, we’ll share a celebratory meal — a chance to toast new friendships, unforgettable roads and the memories we’ve made along the way.
